This article will cover:

Navigating to Reporting Settings

The Reporting Tab lives in your Settings. Follow these steps to get there:

  1. Select your Company Name in the top right-hand corner

  2. Click Settings

  3. Select Reporting

Selecting a Currency

Define the currency in which you would like to view Klear data. This will affect all users in this account.

Changing your currency will affect:

  • EMV, performance, and predictive metrics

  • Budgeting and agreements

  • Influencers’ estimated pricing

Selecting a Time Zone

Define the time zone in which you would like to view Klear data. This will affect all users in this account.

Changing your time zone will affect:

  • Campaign time frames

  • Messaging time stamps

  • Weekly and daily emails

Calculating Engagement Rate

Engagement rate is a powerful data-driven metric that quantifies how well an influencer's content performs. Accurate engagement data plays a vital role in informed decision-making and building a strong influencer marketing strategy.

With the rise of performance marketing (e.g., Facebook or Instagram Ads)—the standard method shifted. Engagement rate is now typically calculated by dividing total engagements by reach, which reflects the number of users who actually saw the content.

Changing your engagement rate calculation will affect:

  • Influencer profiles

  • Campaign measure

  • PDF and CSV exports

Finding Which Metric Is Right For You

While we recommend using reach, we understand some users still prefer calculating engagement rate based on followers.

If you select Reach as your preferred method to calculate engagement rate, Klear will use verified Instagram reach when available. When verified data is not available, we use the Klear True Reach as an alternative.

Reporting

Here is an example to illustrate the differences in engagement rates of a post using both options.

eng rate by reach.png

This post has an engagement rate of 15.28% calculated by the 31.2K users who actually viewed the content. Before this update, the same post showed an engagement rate of 3.11% calculated by the 152.8K followers @minnie_rohilla has, many of them never saw this content or had the chance to engage with it.

You’ll notice a difference in the following places:

  • Campaigns Top KPIs

  • Campaigns Posts

  • Campaigns PDF and CSV exports

  • Influencers’ Profiles

Campaign Tracking Keywords

If your brand uses the same keywords across all campaigns, you can Set default tracking keywords to be tracked for all campaigns you create in your account. This will affect all users in this account. During the campaign setup process, you can still configure your desired keywords to track for each campaign.

Setting default tracking keywords is optional. If you will be tracking different keywords across your campaigns, it’s suggested that you still configure keywords separately for each campaign.

Changing your default tracking keywords will enable:

  • Saving time when creating campaigns

  • Customizing keywords for specific campaigns

Note: Your existing campaigns will not be affected.
