Understanding the Tagging Grid

Radarly's analysis grid allows you to add labels and qualify your publications manually or automatically, it also allows you to create your own post criteria in order to obtain the required information. It is available for each publication of the listening as part of Radarly and the data is also exportable in Excel and CSV format.

Required Fields

By default, Radarly's posts are automatically qualified for the "required fields": sentiment, languages, countries, and keywords.

Sentiment:
The tone of content is detected automatically by AI as well as the detection of emoticons and emojis. The 4 tones are: positive, neutral, mixed, negative.

Language:
Radarly's algorithm automatically qualifies the language of posts. The statistics are visible in the Languages tiles on the Post & Analytics page. To change it, choose the language from the list.

Country/Territory:
The country is defined according to the geolocation data of the mobile devices or the geolocation declared by the author. The statistics are visible in the Countries/Territories tile on the Analytics Detail page. To change it, choose from the list.

Custom Keywords
Add custom keywords that you would like to associate with the post. This keyword will be available in the filter bar under the "Keywords" section.

All Radarly users (except readers) can modify these fields manually via the grid:

  1. In the settings of Radarly

  2. Open the Tagging Grid

Move the mouse over the field you want to change to bring up the Edit button. You will find the existing triggers.

Creating or Modifying Triggers

For mandatory fields, triggers can be used to modify the automatic qualification in order to adapt it to the sector or to the needs of the project (vocabulary specific to the sector which indicates the tone of the posts, putting in favorites according to certain keywords, etc.)

Eg "Delicious", positive tone in the food sector

For custom fields, triggers are used to automate the manual qualification of posts when certain keywords are included in posts.

Eg Automatically labels "Customer Service" for all posts that contain the expressions "help", "service" or "disappointed".

Click + to add a new trigger:

Set the filters for your trigger:

1. Set the trigger parameters. You can create a new query ("search" tab) and/or use the same filters that are being used in the rest of your Radarly project.

2. Assign a value to publications that meet the preset conditions.

3. Choose whether or not to apply automatic qualification to the publications captured before the trigger setting.

Note:
You can not cancel the application of a trigger to the publications already captured.

4. Click OK to validate your changes

Custom Fields

Custom fields allow you to create your own labels to sort the publications Radarly receives. You can also use them as a filter in the search field and/or directly in the creation of queries. Custom fields can be used to manually segregate captured posts to conduct an in-depth analysis of your choice.

Eg "General Topic" (Label) , create different categories under brand attributes such as "SDG", "ESG", "Eco-friendly" to dissect and deep-dive into the posts captured by Radarly relating to the fields.

To create custom fields:

  1. In the settings of Radarly

  2. Open the Tagging Grid

Move the mouse over the field you want to change / add to bring up the Edit. button

You may find the previously set fields and the existing triggers.

Click + to add a new trigger:

※ If you wish to create a new custom field and associate it with a trigger you will have to change "Possible Values" to "Predefined Values" (Image shown below)

Set the filters / add keywords to your new trigger:

1. Set the trigger conditions. You can create a new query ("search" tab) and/or use the same filters as in the rest of your Radarly project.

2. Assign a value to publications that meet the conditions set in the trigger ("Value to Assign")

3. Choose whether or not to "Apply to all posts" to start tagging the trigger to all the current posts available in the project.

※If this is not applied the custom field will not work as designed.

Note:
You can not cancel the application of a trigger to publications already captured.

4. Click OK to validate your changes
