Whether you are new to Klear or already have campaigns up and running, you know the importance of list building and having comprehensive information all in one place. While contact details and social profiles are standard, you’ll gather more personalized data as you nurture your partnerships. Anything from hobbies, birthdays, or shirt sizes is information you want to hold close to strengthen and streamline your future partnerships. While Klear already allows the ability to upload influencer lists, we are expanding this capability to include more customized fields. So now you won’t have to spend time searching through external files to find what you need.

What’s new?

Klear has updated the Influencer List Template to include “Tags” and “Custom” fields so all of your relevant data can be captured and centralized right in your Klear campaigns. Previously, the template included pre-set fields for contact details (name, email, number, address) and notes. With the new tags and custom fields, you can customize exactly what information you want to be attached to each influencer, and it will be populated in their profile card within the campaign. Plus, the sky's the limit- you can add as many custom variables and tag fields as you’d like so no relevant details are left behind.

How does it work?

First, you’ll need to download the CSV Influencer List Template to build your list. You’ll access this from the “Import Influencers” button in the Campaigns tab. There will be the option to manually import influencers or upload a CSV file. Choose the File tab and you’ll see the template for download. In order for a successful upload:

  • Your list must be in a CSV file format.

  • Can only include up to 500 influencers.

  • MUST include “Network” and “Username” fields and these fields must be the first columns in the template.

Next, you’ll prepare your file with the new custom and tag fields.

  • Custom: Use this field to capture details such as birthdays, hobbies, or shirt sizes. Simply add a new column for each new custom field you are including. (Example, “custom: birthday”, “custom: hobby”, and “custom: shirt size”), Then, for each influencer row, add the relevant value (Example: 12/09/1985, Climbing, Medium).

  • Tag: Use this field to apply tags to the influencers you import. For example, “tag: photographer”, or “tag: high engagement”. In this column include an “x” next to each influencer you like to be tagged with this tag.

Finally, once your file is completely filled out with all your custom and tag fields, you’ll start your upload process.

  • Head to the “Import Influencers” button, select File as your upload option

  • Click “Upload File” and select your filled-out influencer list (making sure it’s a CSV!) After uploading, a message will pop up confirming the number of influencers detected on your list or if any issues were detected with your upload

  • Select if you’d like to upload your list to an existing or new campaign

  • Hit “Import” and Klear will take care of everything from here. Once processed, you’ll see your uploaded influencers' data available in your campaign and on influencers’ profiles.
