Klear: Using Agreements

Step-by-step guide on how to use agreements within Klear.

We will go over how to utilize the Agreements feature within Klear. We have broken this article down into the following:

Before We Get Started

All agreement activity takes place within Klear Connect. You must first connect with influencers through Klear in order to send and sign contracts. Connect with influencers by sending a campaign brief and inviting them to a campaign. After an influencer accepts your invite you will be able to send them a contract for signature.

How to Send out Agreements

Upload The Agreement

  1. Select an influencer from the left-side list

  2. Click the + icon in the messages area

  3. Click on Agreement

  4. Click the Upload button

  5. Select PDF File

  6. The Agreement Title and Agreement Message will change automatically to show your agreement file name. Both the message text and title can be edited and customized.

  7. Make sure the correct influencer is selected in the Select Influencer dropdown and click Prepare Agreement for Signing.

Note: You can also send a contract from the Agreements section in Klear connect

Prepare Agreement for Signing

Drag and drop fields from the left-side menu to the correct place on the document. You can add signature fields, initials, signature dates, text boxes and checkboxes. Make sure to assign the files to the right participant (either you or the influencer).

Send the Agreement

After you are done preparing the agreement, click 'Continue' to send the agreement to the influencer.

Track Signature Progress

After the agreement is sent, this event will be logged in the influencer's message feed. After the influencer signs, all participants will receive a notification with a copy of the signed document. this will be accessible via Klear connect at any time.

Click on Agreements to check the status of your agreement. You can access the updated agreement file directly from this section.

What Will the Influencer See?

Signature Request

Influencers will receive an email, requesting their signature. The email will be personalized with the influencer's name and will show the brand name along with the message and agreement title you've entered when uploading the agreement file. The "Sign Agreement" button will redirect influencers to the actual agreement.

Influencer eSignature

Influencers will seamlessly sign the agreement on Klear (mobile friendly, no need to create a HelloSign account). Click the fields will let influencers add their data or signature.

Influencers will be able to choose the most convenient way to sign. If an influencer has signed an agreement wit you before, they will also see an option to use the same signature from their previous agreement. After creating a signature, the influencer will click insert to add signatures to the document.

Influencers should receive the document, and when done click "Continue" to submit the signed document back.

Process Documentation

After the influencers submit the signed document, both parties will get a notification with a copy of the signed agreement. The event will be logged in the influencer's messaging feed.

A document history log will be added to the last page of the signed agreement.
