Building an Audiense Insights Report from Explore

Understand your social media audiense through reporting

Audiense Insights Reports offer an in-depth and interactive social media audiense profiling solution with a deep dive into your different community segments. Truly understand what resonates with them by discovering their demographics and consumer habits, as well as the individuals and media outlets that are influential over each group.

Prerequisites

Before getting started with your Audiense Insights Report, ensure you have a saved search within Explore. Learn more about Getting Started with Explore.


Generating an Audiense Report

Following the following steps to create an Audiense Report in Explore:

  1. Select Explore from the left-hand side navigation bar

  2. Select the search you want to create a report for

  3. Click Actions in the top right-hand corner

  4. Select Create Audiense Report. At this point, the X (formerly Twitter) results returned in your search will be sent to Audiense (there is no need to filter by X)

  5. You'll be automatically redirected to an Audiense login page. Enter your Audiense login details. If you don't currently have login details, please reach out to your Meltwater Account Management or to our Support team via Live Chat, who will direct your request.

    Note: If you have already logged in that day, you will not be directed to a login page. You will be directed straight to the report generation page, see below.

  6. Confirm the Search name and date range for your report. If you adjust the date range within Audiense, it will update the data sent from Explore to match the new date range. You cannot set the end date in the future. It must be set to the current date for the report to be generated effectively.

  7. Click Next

  8. Select Launch to generate your report

  9. Your report will be sent to your email address for viewing and can be accessed from your Audiense account.
