Meltwater’s GenAI Lens gives you visibility into how your brand is being represented across the world’s leading generative AI platforms. It captures the responses generated by large language models (LLMs), showing not only what’s being said about your brand but also where that information is coming from. This level of transparency helps you stay informed, spot inaccuracies, and better understand the sources influencing AI-generated content.

GenAI Lens currently supports 90%+ of the most widely used LLMs, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, and Deepseek. Meltwater is actively expanding coverage as new models enter the market. By monitoring these AI-generated responses, you can uncover early reputational risks, track brand visibility, and shape more data-informed communications strategies.

Using GenAI Lens

To use GenAI Lens, follow these steps:

  1. Click Monitor in the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Select GenAI Lens

Note: GenAI Lens is a shared environment across a company, like Explore or Engage. This means that users accessing your company will have access to both GenAI Lens and all saved prompts. That said, if your company does not have any saved prompts in GenAI Lens, you will be greeted with a screen that invites you to create the first prompt. However, if someone else in your company has created and saved a prompt to GenAI Lens, it will open to that prompt.

  3. To get started, click Create a prompt in the top right-hand corner. This will open the prompt template library.
