Discovery highlights what’s new, different, or gaining traction in a workspace’s data – without having to look for it. It’s a fast track to finding emerging stories and brand moments.

This article will cover:


Using Discovery

To access and use Discovery, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Explore+ drop-down in the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Select Discovery

    Note: Feed is powered by all workspace Optimized searches (up to 60), which can be selected as a group or individually (these selections will reset to all upon sign-out).

  3. Take any of the following actions

    1. Date Range: Switch date range between past 7 days and past 30 days

    2. Searches: Select searches powering the feed

    3. Learning Types: Select learning types

      1. Viral posts - content that has gained exceptional traction, through high engagement.

      2. Volume increase - Significant increase in the number of mentions over a specific time period.

      3. Volume decrease - Significant decrease in the number of mentions over a specific time period.

      4. Image cluster - Groups visually similar images together to help identify visual patterns.

      5. Hashtags - Most frequently used hashtags, to reveal trends or themes.

      6. Keyphrases - Complex contextual information. It can be short phrase or multiple informative sentences.

      7. Emotions - Dominant emotional tone in posts to reflect sentiment or emotional trends.

      8. Positive - Content expression favorable sentiment or positive perception.

      9. Negative - Content expression unfavorable sentiment or critical perception.

      10. Topics - Detected content made into predefined topics or genres.

    4. Expand & Collapse Learnings: Open or collapse learnings in the feed (individually or all at once)

Note: This first version of Discovery is a read-only feed — designed to help users spot spikes, standout posts, and emerging trends with no setup required.
