If you are a Meltwater Radarly user, you can now capture and surface all public TikTok posts and comments that mention your brand’s handle (within the post’s caption).

This article will cover the different steps needed to collect and visualize TikTok mentions to your account:

Contact Your Client Success Executive to Finalize the Process

Contact your CSE and indicate the TikTok account you want to retrieve mentions of.

The CSE will initiate the process of capturing TikTok content in Radarly.

Authenticating Your TikTok Account

Note: Once the credentials have been plugging into Radarly, data will automatically be collected. There will be 3 months of historical data, within the limit of 1000 publications.

Radarly Authentication

  1. Navigate to Project Configuration

  2. Select Settings

  3. Select Social Accounts in the top toolbar

  4. Click + to connect a new account

  5. Select Add TikTok Account

  6. A pop-up window will appear and prompt you to log into TikTok

Data Collected in Radarly

After the process has been finalized, TikTok data will be collected in your project and you will see TikTok as a new source.

Today, we retrieve TikTok content that mentions your brand once your TikTok account is authenticated. We can track the following KPIs:

  • Number of posts

Note:

  • Engagement metrics are not included

  • We don’t retrieve Tiktok user names, consequently, we can’t create a corpus from Tiktok data.

  • Data collection will begin at the time of authentication and will not include any historical data.

  • Customers who participated in the 2024 TikTok Beta - please contact your account representative to learn more about metrics that were available through that program.
