Posts may show up as deleted in Klear for a number of reasons, such as if they were actually removed by the influencer, if embedding isn’t enabled on their account, or if the content is restricted due to age settings.

This article will cover:

Instagram Embedding Issues

In some cases, an Influencer may have disabled embedding for their Instagram account. This will inhibit Klear from displaying the creator's content on the platform as they have revoked permission to host their content on third-party websites.

If this is the case please request that the Influencer you are partnering with follows the instructions below to turn embedding on in their Instagram account.

To turn on Embedding in Instagram settings:

  1. Open Instagram and click on your profile picture in the bottom right to access your profile

  2. Click more options in the top right

  3. Click settings and privacy.

  4. Below How others can interact with you, select Guides and Sharing.

  5. Select switch on next to allow website embeds to turn the setting on.

Influencer Deleted Content

If an influencer deletes content, Klear must remove it as per a social network’s terms of service. Many influencers' campaign contract terms specify the duration a piece of content needs to be posted and when the influencer can delete it. Many influencers remove this type of content after their contract has expired.

Age Restricted Settings

If a post appears as deleted, it may not actually be removed from their account—it could be restricted due to Instagram's age settings on the post or the influencer's account. When age restrictions are in place, the post won’t display in our platform and will appear as deleted. This is controlled by Instagram and affects all third-party platforms. The post will still be included in your campaign and captured content but will appear as a deleted placeholder.
