Using Snapchat Listening in Explore

There are two ways to filter your Explore results to include Snapchat content - via Source Type or Boolean.

Click Explore in the left-hand navigation bar

Select the checkbox next to Snapchat

1. Click Explore in the left-hand navigation bar
2. Open an existing search
3. Click the Source Type drop-down
4. Select the checkbox next to Snapchat

Navigate to the search bar at the top of your screen

Type “AND <code>metaData.source.id:"social:snapchat"</code>”

Note: Searchable text includes titles, captions, and image tags.

To narrow down your search by a creator, add the author handle to your Explore search.

1. Example: <code>handle:”authorname"</code>

1. Click Explore in the left-hand navigation bar
2. Open an existing search
3. Navigate to the search bar at the top of your screen
4. Type “AND <code>metaData.source.id:"social:snapchat"</code>”

5. To narrow down your search by a creator, add the author handle to your Explore search.

6. Click Search

Stories: Stories are ephemeral Snaps viewable by friends, subscribers, and non-subscribers in Snapchat’s 4th tab “Discover” feed for up to 24-hours.

Saved Stories: Saved Stories are permanent Stories that are viewable on a Public Profile indefinitely.

Spotlights: Spotlights are permanent video Snaps that are distributed and viewable on Spotlight, Snapchat’s entertainment platform for user-generated content. Spotlight offers a channel for creators and businesses to grow their audience on Snapchat.

- Stories: Stories are ephemeral Snaps viewable by friends, subscribers, and non-subscribers in Snapchat’s 4th tab “Discover” feed for up to 24-hours. 
- Saved Stories: Saved Stories are permanent Stories that are viewable on a Public Profile indefinitely.
