What is Klear global influence score and how is it calculated?

Klear's global influence score represents how influential someone is on their social channels. It is calculated by statistical analysis on engagement, reach, demographics, network, and many other factors. Here is a great article that explains how we measure influence.

How do your influence categories work?

  1. Celebrities: Top 1% influencers in the chosen network.

  2. Power Users: 1-20% influencers in the chosen network

  3. Casual: 20-50% influencers in the chosen network.

  4. Novice: Bottom 50% influencers in the chosen network.

Our influence categories (ex: Celebrities or Power Users) filters the results of your search based on how socially influential they are on your chosen network. For example, if you check "Power Users" on an Instagram search, it will only show you Power Users on Instagram (and ignore what type of influence they may have on Twitter.)
